Sandhya is a renowned Brahmin dancer and is in love with Hari, who belongs to the Dalit community. She gets married to a man of her grandfather's choice, but can't forget her previous lover.

Gauri lives in a small village in India with her crippled ex-army-man & freedom fighter dad, Laxmandas, and a younger brother, Gulab, and makes a living working as a laborer. One day she notices a male lurking around their house, this male subsequently introduces himself as Ranjeet, who has just arrived from Bombay. Ranjeet and Gauri become friends after Ranjeet treats a wound on Gauri`s foot, and then both fall in love with each other. Ranjeet starts working for the Government which is in the process of building a dam, where Gauri also works. Ranjeet starts work as a laborer also, but is subsequently promoted as a crane operator. What Gauri and Laxmandas do not know is that Ranjeet is in this village for a reason - greed - for the suitcase of gold that he himself had buried in Gauri`s front-yard - the very same gold that he was caught smuggling five years ago - and the very same gold that he had spent five years in prison for.

Two sisters, Asha and Lata, want to be successful singers and dancers, but a competition drives their rivalry to tragic consequences.

Asha Rai wants to establish herself as a dancer, while her sister, Lata, wants to establish herself as a singer par excellence. Both compete openly in front of a crowd, and Asha wins this competition. Lata does not take this loss sportingly, and recklessly drives her car, injuring several people, and then ends up throwing herself off of a cliff to her death. This traumatic incident leave a scar on Asha and she loses her sanity. When Asha's boyfriend, Inspector Karan, introduces her to a young man by the name of Arjun, she is attracted to him, and soon both get married. It is then the Rai family find out that Arjun is the brother of one of the people that was killed by Lata's rash driving, namely his sister, Jyoti, and Arjun has married Asha to avenge her death - by killing her and all of her family - one by one.

The Film is based around actual events which involved Chottu Gang of Rajanpur, Kacha area of Southern Punjab, Pakistan.

Three mafia brothers control the city. During a raid on one of their nightclubs, Inspector Vijay finds a notebook with records of illegal operations. But the mafia is no laughing matter.
